Yes writing it like it's your first or last! You know what I mean.

Bottom line is put your heart and soul in writing a post and not just write for the sack of writing.

Good stuff Terry. I've been concerned about meeting the "deadline" I have set for myself when posting. I really just need to write insightful posts which will be more beneficial to my readers. Thank you for the reminder.

Did you know that your Adsense block is showing Public Service Ads? You might want to consider setting it up so that it shows an ad for one of your affiliate offers, like Atomic Blogging or SEO Book, instead of a PSA. You don't want to leave money at the table.

I like the tips you gave. One important thing to remember is the audience you're writing for in your post. You almost have to write one way for regular subscribers and another to capture one time search visitors. You can do both in the same blog, I do this to some degree on my flagship blog, but even search engine bait posts should be of value to your regulars.

Now, if you write a niche blog intended to optimize Adsense or Affiliate earnings, you should take an ad copy approach to writing where keywords are emphasized and overall creative quality is lower. Some might call it marketing fluff. You won't have regular visitors/subscribers but you will get money making one-time search visitors who'll click Adsense or visit your affiliate links.
