What’s with the video postings?

Another week is about to end and it’s time for a session of random ramblings! If you have been coming back to my blog, you probably noticed I have posted 4 straight blog post of videos with no reviews or any sort of discussion at all. Now, that’s bad blogging! Ok, I must admit it, I didn’t have the time to get my postings ready. Well, that can happen from time to time to any bloggers. Sometimes things will not just go your way but it can be prevented - get ready your post way ahead of time, put 10 post up in advance. Seriously, that’s one way. With the help of a blogging ideas notepad, It’s much more easier. I brainstormed 10 new things to write about in just an hour.

The DNA of Success Seminar in Singapore

Last Friday 22nd of February, Jack Zufelt was here in Singapore on a mission to help Singaporeans achieve greater successes in life - be it financial, family, relationship, confidence or parenting.

It was a good 2 hrs session of great information that Jack shared with an audience of 200 over people - the principles of getting what you want in life. I have send a last minute email out to people that are on my newsletter list, for those who didn’t make it don’t worry, he will be coming back in a few months time.

What did he teach?

I’ll go right in. He teaches people to find their switch to switch on their lights in life. Confused? We probably know people that are successful in one thing but not the other. Let me just quote one of Jack’s story that he shared on stage that night.

Jack is a Karate black belt instructor and he teaches people to be black belts. One professor approached him and asked Jack what does it takes to be a black belt. Jack replied “4 and a half years of his time, 1 hour of practice a day”. The professor’s reaction was… “that long?” (mouth open with disbelieve).

Other kid approached Jack like what the professor did but this kid was slightly different. He had a unusual leg structure and had to undergo major surgery to correct his bone structure. He wasn’t a black belt material. He can’t even do a simple kick. So he asked Jack, “What does it take for him to be a black belt” and Jack replied “5 and a half years of his time and 2 hours of practice a day”. The kid has got to do much more of practice when compared to the professor because of his condition. Guess what was his reply? His reply was, “Is that all? When can I get started?” He was so excited about it.

How different was the professor’s reaction from the kid? The kid wanted it badly and for the professor to attain black belt was just an idea. It was the kids desire to get to black belt but not the professor. That’s the difference.

What Jack teaches people is how to identify their core desire and how to unleash their conquering force (the switch) to achieve it. It’s merely just goal setting, being motivated or reading self help books, it’s knowing what you truly want. If you want to learn from Jack Zufelt about the valuable principles he teaches, I suggest you to get his free dvd.
