It is true that some companies provide their affiliates with lead capture pages, follow email system and salespages. However most of their functions are limited and you probably do not have full control over it which makes your marketing and follow up a little tough.

Here’s the good news, you can always build your own lead capture page. You can decide what heading to put or which image you want, everything can be customize to your preference.

First of all, you need to buy a professional domain name for your site. I would personally recommend that you buy your own name. For example, JamesTan.com or JerryJunior.com, try to get a domain name ending with .com. Having a your name as your domain name can brand yourself as a representative for your network marketing business. It gives you an additional marketing channel online.

2. Website Hosting

A domain name alone is useless without a place to host it. It’s like a company without a place to run it’s business. Let’s keep it simple, a domain name is like your shop name and a hosting is like the shop you rent to run your business, get the picture? There are many hosting services online and most of them are equally good. I’m using Hostgator for my hosting services and I’m very satisfy with their customer and technical support so far. There’s a few plans and I will suggest your to use a shared plan, either plan Hatchling or plan Baby. For Hatchling, you only can host up to 1 domain name whereas for plan Baby you can host up to unlimited domain name and it’s only $9.95 per month. I personally use Hostgator’s Baby plan, it’s good enough.

3. Email Autoresponder Follow-up System

This is where you store your prospect’s information into a email management system where you can send follow emails to them later. Statistic shows that your prospect tends sign up after a few follow up, when they have a better understand about the business and you. It’s a must have tool to assist in your marketing and follow ups. I have personally tried several email autoresponder services and have ended up using Getresponse which is the best in my opinion. For only $17.95, it manages your leads, endless follow up emails and broadcast features - You can’t leave without this if you are in network marketing.

4. Website Builder Software

Well, this might sound a little tough. I must admit it will take you some time to figure it out but it’s do-able. This is where you construct your website and put in your opt-in form into it. The 1 softwares that I will recommend you to use is MS Frontpage. It’s very straight forward compare to the rest of the software.
