I certainly think it’s possible.
Definition of Entrepreneur
An entrepreneur is a person who organizes things, come out with new ideas or systems and sets a vision for himself or company to achieve a calculated outcome.
Here’s a phrase I quoted from Wikipedia.
The word “entrepreneur” is a loanword from French. In French the verb “entreprendre” means “to undertake”, with “entre” coming from the Latin word meaning “between”, and “prendre” meaning “to take”.
Which means an Entrepreneur has to undertake every single thing, from innovation, planning to delegation of task. Now that’s an entrepreneur. To over look the whole thing from a bird’s eye view.
The Typical Network Marketer
What does a typical network marketer look or sound to you? They are constantly looking for new leads, constantly on the phone, bringing people to their business opportunity presentation, doing follow up and finally signing new reps.
Now that’s probably the network marketer you will see out there.
I’m not saying that this won’t work, it will but there’s something missing from it.
Your Upline Have Just FAKED You
Most of the time the typical network marketer you’ll see out there would fail eventually simply because they work like an employee. They are doing what the other one thousand of network marketers are doing - ultimately they didn’t succeed.
Albert Einstein defines insanity as doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.
I bet if you ask you upline right now about what should you do next? You probably get answers like…
“Go to abc.com and spend $65 on solo ads and blast it out to 1000 leads”
“Write down a list of 1000 people (Get the names and number from your mums or dads contact list or maybe you can try your uncle’s or aunt’s) and call all of them.
(Amazing right? I heard that somewhere)
“Try Google Adwords”
“Buy 1000 leads from so-and-so lead company”
Or…
“Put up a newspaper ad in the business opportunity section and invite them to our business presentation”
Something is simply not right here?
Now before you go on and listen to your upline what they have just told you. Try asking them what’s their success rate with what they have just advise. If they give you a blank stare on the face or fumble when they try to explain or maybe trying avoid your question - don’t do what they have just told you! They just want you to do something which they have not do themselves and worst they are trying to make you think that these method actually worked for them.
Some kind of upline huh? There are such “leaders” around. Or maybe I shouldn’t call them leaders. They simply just want to leech off the effort of you.
What’s Missing that Your Upline is Not Telling?
Remember what I have just talked about earlier on entrepreneurship? You either be the entrepreneur-type of network marketer who steps up every time or the employee-type of network marketer who follows blindly.
I hope after reading this post you have a better understanding of what type of network marketer you want to be. Trust yourself and your upline. Cut away from your upline once you find out that they are not telling you the truth.

You make some very good points here. I think for a network marketer to truly be an entrepreneur, she has to come up with innovative ways of getting the job done, not just follow directions from the upline. Of course, that goes agains most network marketers’ mindsets, because they just want something they can plug into and become a bazillionaire overnight.
One thing, though, is that the tactics your upline suggests may have worked for him. Once those venues are saturated, though, the downline has to find more and more creative ways to market the product/business.
For example, solo ads might be great during the few days after launch, but if you’re one of the people who answered a solo ad, guess what? You’re in with the hordes of people that didn’t get to hear about the business pre-launch. And now you’re fighting against tons of other marketers out there trying to promote the same business. The upline tells everyone to use solo ads (because they worked for the upline), but since everyone is now using them to promote one business, they don’t work anymore.
Some uplines misdirect, but I think others just don’t realize how specific tactics can be diluted once they reach the downline.
Have a great day!

Hi Lee, Thanks for dropping by.
Yes and it’s very true that solo ads work perfect well during initial launch and when all of the other members get to know about it. Everyone will jump in a place a solo ad each for themselves.
Now guess what, the ad response won’t turn out to be good due to the number of people putting the ads.
There some uplines out there doing the right thing.
