As usual I woke up at about 10am this morning and the first thing I did was NOT to brush my teeth but turn on my computer. I was staring at my computer screen for windows to start up when I noticed a little newspaper cutting by the side of my table. It was a newspaper article my dad cut out for me.

I took up that little pierce of newspaper cutting and flip in around to see what so special about this article. The title was, “He’s made his first million on the internet” and the newspaper (The Sunday Times, April 29 2007 Invest Section page 24) was featuring Mr Ewen Chia. They had a beautiful picture of him and his family, his wife and 2 kids - with his laptop in the picture as well.

I met him on an internet workshop and my first impression on him was he was a hard worker who never quits.

Here’s a quote from the papers on what Ewen Recalled:

“From 1997 - 2002, I would be on the internet from 11pm to 3am. Then I would wake up at 7am for work. It was quite tough learning about the internet and working full-time.”

He was like any ordinary person who wants to be rich and enjoy freedom but he was different for the action he does - He took action and build his internet marketing success.

Here are some questions the papers interviewed Ewen:

Q: Why did you decide to be an entrepreneur?
A: I believe that being an entrepreneur will make me richer. when you have your own business, you have control over it and you can grow it…

Q: And your home now is…?
A: A five-storey 3,000 sq ft cluster house in Yishun…

Q: And your car is…?
A: I drive a white BMW 5 series.

He is one guy I admire and probably you should as well. Success don’t come easy and its worth every single drop of effort and time you put in. So if you are ready Just do it! (Thanks Nike)
