I won’t want to be ban for doing such things. John Reese is taking it seriously in protecting the integrity of Traffic Secrets 2.0 as well as the company so I totally understand why he is banning affiliates for using “misleading” marketing tactics. If I were him, I will do the same to protect my products. Traffic Secrets 2.0 is the cream of the crop Internet marketing course that’s available on the Internet today and without a doubt John has to the necessary precaution to keep his brand and reputation intact.

Ok updates aside now, that’s not the main thing I want to talk to you about tonight. Now you probably have an idea that Traffic Secrets 2.0 is not some crappy ebook that’s going ripped you off. It’s a highly respected Internet marketing training course in the industry… It’s not digitalize, no it’s NOT. It’s a physical product that will be deliver to your door step by mail!

Enough of my introduction, what I want to address today is if Traffic Secrets 2.0 can help network marketers build their business online?

My answer is yes! and no! Looking at the sales page, this course is designed for people that wants to generate more traffic, make money online and to grow their business online. But then again, some of the modules in the course can help you generate more potential leads using a smaller budget. Let me just run through which are the particular modules (I’ll run down the sales page) which I feel could benefit you as a network marketer right away.

CD#1: The Foundation

This module teaches you the principles of traffic generation which means, the fundamentals of driving visitors to your website. Put this context into generating more leads for your network marketing business, if you want to generate more leads to your business capture page you need to drive traffic. There’s 101 ways to drive traffic to your site and if you want your network marketing business to grow you need to find more new targeted prospect. That’s when traffic generation comes in… you’ll save money doing it online.

CD#5: Content Factory

Many Internet marketers probably call this the “Grand Daddy” of all Internet marketing techniques - Content marketing. In this module, you’ll learn how to write an article that attracts your niche market. For instance, if you are in the health industry, you probably write an article on why you need to take this vitamin or that supplement and so on. You brand yourself as an expert in your industry and educate your niche so, very similar you’ll establish yourself online with lots of content educating your nice - Attract targeted traffic or people.

CD#6: Video Marketing

Ok! This is one of the latest and hottest marketing methods currently. Do a business presentation video, be creative and put it on YouTube! Guess what, YouTube is not the only place to share or market your videos. There’s more to what video marketing can do for your MLM business. Just think harder…

CD#7: Social Strategy

The word “social” suggest being together with people right? We all know that network marketing is a people to people business and only through building good relationship the business can grow wealthy and healthy. I bet this module will make a significant difference in your marketing efforts to grow your business.

These are the 4 CD modules can help you grow your network marketing business online. I’m not sure about the rest of the CD modules but I’m sure that they will come in handy in the future. Marketing is about innovation and marketing online can be a great place to test your creativity and innovation.

That’s all I can share for now. I would need to review the course to actually know if the all of the strategies can help grow a network marketing business online. Some strategies do work but some not as effective. So until my Traffic Secrets 2.0 arrive I won’t be able to say much.

Sunday Random Ramblings - 30/03/08

It’s another day of Random Ramblings! There’s good and bad news. Which one would you like to hear first?

The Good News or Bad News

Ok… let’s hear the good news first.

I wouldn’t be going to Taiwan for military exercise because of a medical condition I have. Why?

The bad news… My cardiac specialist suspect that I might have a hole in my heart or a leaking vault and advise me to go for further test. So, I will be going for an heart echo and treadmill test this coming 21st April. I hope everything will turn out alright.

Recently, a friend of mine, Andrew (he have made a couple of post here) was hospitalized because of a heart problem and I hope that he is feeling better now.

Anyway, it’s not really bothering me…. I guess.

CEO of iContact, Ryan P. Allis

Last night I was at Borders bookshop. As usual I went straight to the business section and do my usual browsing through of the books there. So happened that I saw this book titled, “Zero to One Million” by Ryan P. Allis. I only managed to read 2 chapters of this book so I won’t be doing much of a review here but I’ll share a thing or 2.

Many of your might have probably heard of iContact which is one of online’s leading email marketing company. The author is the owner of this company.

What amuses the most was he started business at a very young age of 11 and went on developing iContact at the age of 21 and now generating $10 million in sales a year at 24.

The book is available on Amazon and I urge you to check out this book…

That’s all forks…

Top 8 Alternatives to Digg and Del.icio.us

This post is guest blogged by Heather Johnson who is a contributor at Business Credit Cards.

Looking for a place besides Digg and del.icio.us to promote your online work? Let’s face it – the aforementioned sites can occasionally move some serious traffic through your site, but only with the help of power users. If you’re a social media newcomer, you’re pretty much dead in the water on those sites. Rather than crying about it, you should try out the following social bookmarking sites:

1. StumbleUpon – Offering a longer tail of traffic than Digg or del.icio.us, StumbleUpon is a fun tool to use even when you aren’t trying to market something.

2. Propeller – Propeller can offer decent traffic and is a voter-based news item aggregator, not unlike Digg. High profile Propeller users include Wil Wheaton.

3. Slashdot - If you have some “news for nerds” that you think would be of interest to the Slashdot crowd, then it would be a boon to your site to get mentioned on this site’s front page.

4. BlinkList – Still in Beta, this is a fun bookmarking site offers a convenient browser button, not unlike StumbleUpon.

5. Netvouz – This no frills layout will remind you of del.icio.us and it is growing in popularity.

6. Clipmarks - Clipmarks is a fun twist on social bookmarking, as it asks people to “clip” the most important part of a Webpage and add it to the site.

7. Furl – Another no-nonsense bookmarking site, Furl intends to simplify your bookmarking as much as possible.

8. DZone – This is a link-sharing site that is specifically geared to Web developers. As you can imagine, there is a lot of interesting Web 2.0 things to be found here.

Using social media to market your projects is a necessary evil and it’s very time consuming – especially if you are a member of many different sites. Spreading yourself too thin isn’t a good idea, so don’t join every social bookmarking site that comes along. Instead, focus on a general site or two, plus any sites that are specific to your niche. Before long, that traffic will start snowballing and social media sites will become part of your daily routine.

Where Are My Monthly Commissions?

Last week as usual we were having our weekly internet network marketing training. It was a rainy night and everyone was coming in late and drench. For some, a rainy day was a good excuse for not turning up for training but for those that show up that day, they did not want to be left behind.

Our training went on with a slight difference in approach (I’ll share with you more of that in the next few days). Instead of focusing about how to market online, we are going give a twist to it. I’ll share that in a few days.

You must be wondering about the blog title… “Where Are My Monthly Commissions?”

That’s what I’m going to talk about today. During the training break, a nice man approached me and ask if I could lend him my laptop so that he could show his prospect about the business system and model. Being a nice guy I was (No kidding, I can be nice and nasty =) …), I lend him my laptop for awhile.

He went on to show his prospect about the program and system… and when he went on to show his prospect “the commission section” he has got nothing to “brag” about… the commission page has ZERO amount. I’m not teasing him… But it’s what he said later I want to put across to you.

So he asked me politely where were his monthly commissions and how come he wasn’t paid. I took a quick look and told him that he had done nothing so there were no commissions.

“But, I have 9 active spillovers on my left leg”, he said. That still won’t count because of our business model and commission plan he did not even make the less requirement.

That wasn’t a nice thing to show a prospect. Yes I know, your income doesn’t determine your future successes, but still it wasn’t a nice thing to show. What surprised me most was… he told me that he was waiting for his upline to explain the gist of the business since a year ago. You mean that for the pass one year he can’t take the initiative to ask or do his own research?

He wasn’t ready for business at all.

My point for sharing this story with you is to let you know that if you want to be in network marketing, you have to be responsible for your own success. Because no one will except yourself. Don’t put the blame on anyone. If your upline has no time to go through with you about the business because he is too busy or he simply don’t bother, move on and find some one else. You don’t have to wait for a year. When there’s a will, there will be a way!

He thanked me for the laptop and walked away with his prospect into the corner of the corridor. Well you can guess if his prospect join him in the business.

Have a great weekend.
