Chest Pain and Down with Flu
I’m not sure if I have talk about a pain on my chest that have been bothering me for the past 1 year. Could it be a heart problem or just a muscle strain? The pain is not there 24/7, the pain will come suddenly during my sleep, when I drive or just walking around. Frankly, anyone with the right mind would hope it’s just a minor muscle strain.
I have a right mind!
Luckily I managed to re-schedule my appointment with a Cardiologist (Is it the right word?) on next Monday. Hopefully everything will turn our fine.
I will have a piece of mind going to Taiwan for exercise then.
I’m down with flu today, very bad. I think everyone around me are falling sick. Is it because of the weather?
Just a few hours away from now, I’m reporting back to camp for tomorrow’s duty. It’s going to be a 24hours duty, it’s regimental, that’s what they say and so I have to jolly well be in camp by 2359hrs.
How’s Business?
Good question! It’s tough having to manage national service (military), relationship, family, business, dogs and friends altogether. One of my commanders asked…
“You know you are in the Army, why did you still choose to run your own business?”
My answer was, “I simply just want to mind my own business”
Ok, that’s not what I reply, but that’s what I want to reply. My stand to this question is, if I don’t start now then when? 2 years in the military is a long and good time to start some soul searching and think about what you want. I did my soul searching a year before I enlisted so I know exactly which way I want to go.
National Service is not going to stop me.
As much as I’m unwilling to be in the military, it’s still my duty as a Singaporean to do my part for my country although I would really prefer to do my part in other aspects such as economically.
Hmm… maybe they should diversify?
It’s not for me to decide.
Anyway, if any fellow netizen that’s in the situation that I’m in right now? My advice to you is not to give up your dreams, your ambitions, your goals or whatever you desire in life - Go for it, even if you are in the military!
Who I’m Going to Miss?
If my medical condition permits and I’m going to Taiwan. I definitely going to miss my family, girlfriend, dogs, friends, food, home, my toilet (imagine I’m going to do my business in the jungle) and of course my business.
That’s all for today. I’m going to have dinner soon.

Hi Terry,
This is so strange you are posting about chest pain considering I just went through an episode of an irregular heartbeat with chest pain.
I hope everything is ok with you!
Take Care,
