Last Wednesday was an unforgettable day. The catered food came at 5.45pm, party settings and every other things necessary were ready. It’s a twenty first birthday party that most would probably celebrate to mark a turning point in their life.

The party was schedule to start a 7.00pm that night. Ten minutes passed seven o’clock but no one turn up. I was feeling anxious and still anticipating the first guest to arrive.

Thirty minutes passed and no one turn up.

Suddenly, my first guest arrived, then the next one, then another and another. By 8:00pm everyone seems like flooding into the party room. In just about 10 minutes almost all of my guests came in. I knew what was coming and I was prepared. The foods were out, drinks ready, comfortable seats available. However I was taken by surprise just by a little.

It’s the same for your network marketing business, you need to be prepared and ready.

Most network marketers weren’t ready for business but they thought they are. So when opportunities come rushing towards them, they got smack right in the face. They simply wasn’t ready and prepared for it.

However there ways to be prepared and the most obvious one is to understand your network marketing business opportunity and product well enough. Most of the time by doing so, you are 80% prepared to stand your ground to take anyone.

Don’t get taken by surprise, get ready and be prepared. Till next time, we’ll go into some advance preparation.
