This could probably be the worst feeling - no cash in your wallet! Last Friday when I was on my way home, I took out my wallet and was shocked to find NO cash in it. I wanted to get a drink but couldn’t. It’s probably very common for a military guy like me to hold no cash but some how I felt broke and useless, so I try to flip through my wallet to check if I happen to slip any notes in the wallet slots. I found no money.

As I was about to stop digging my wallet hoping that I would find a dollar, I found an ATM cash receipt. On the receipt it says that I have withdrawn $900 ($500+$400). Some how I felt richer. The receipt is a little old and it has probably been in my wallet for a couple of months. It’s a funny feeling. I began to smile to myself and hurried back home to continue working on my stuff. Money motivates me some how.

Then I recalled reading Donald Trump and Bill Zanker’s “Think Big and Kick Ass”. In one of the chapters, Bill said that even if you are poor or have little money, always keep a $10 bill in your wallet just to make yourself rich. As your wealth grow, increase the money that you are put in your wallet. I thought to myself, “Will this method really make me rich?”. Nah, it won’t but it’s a form of motivation that keeps me wanting to increase the money in my wallet. From $10 to $100 then $1000…

That’s probably why “Think and Grow Rich” was titled think first then grow rich…
