Copying and paste might be a fast way to make a quick post but I don’t think it’s a good idea. I have done that a few times but I doubt it’s doing do any good to my blog.

The disadvantages

1. If you copy some else’s content so in the eye of Google search engine, its duplicated content and Google will mark your site for copying content. This will affect you in terms of search engine optimization.

2. It does not reflect you well if your readers found out that what you have post is from another blog or website. Eventually, your loyal readers will not come back to your blog.

3. It only makes you lazy. Now seriously, I felt that way. My attitude was, if I don’t have anything to write, I’ll go copy some one else’s blog post. That’s it - the wrong way.

What you can do instead?

There’s other ways you can do it but of cause it requires some effort.

Rewrite the blog post in your own words. Simple and straight forward. Get the ideas from other blogs and rewrite it. You may add more information if you think it’s necessary. Don’t worry about who’s information it belongs to. Chances are 90% of the bloggers get their blog information from other bloggers or website.

You don’t have to come out with all the ideas. Simply do a search and find other people’s idea and talk about it in your own style, or own words. It’s always different when the same information is being express by a different person or writing style. It looks and sounds new in a way.

Be creative, ideas doesn’t have to come from you.
